Uttar Pradesh: Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister, gave the essential guidelines for the proposed integrated court buildings on Thursday. He stated in a high-level meeting that swift justice must be served in order to have good governance.
For quick justice, there is a system of courts connected to various laws depending on the type of offences. Several places throughout the districts serve as the current locations for these courts.
“Both the judges and the litigants experience issues as a result of the courts being located in different parts of the same district. Additionally, there are issues with administrative and security procedures. In view of this, integrated court buildings can be useful,” he said according to a government spokesperson
According to Yogi Adityanath, as a pilot project to simplify the legal system, such integrated court complexes must be built in 10 districts, including Mahoba, Hathras, Chandauli, Shamli, Amethi, Hapur, Auraiya, Sonbhadra, Sambhal, and Chitrakoot, keeping in mind the convenience of the average person.
Additionally, a 400 crore additional budget has been set aside for this unique endeavour.
“District and subordinate courts, commercial courts, miscellaneous tribunals, fast track courts, lok Adalats, etc. will all be part of the integrated court complex. A residential colony, parking lot, and food plaza should be provided for judges, judicial officers, and employees in addition to court buildings, advocate chambers, and an auditorium,” Yogi said to officials.
