The police admitted that the brawl started with one-on-one bursting of firecrackers and releasing rockets. Earlier on October 3, there was a communal riot in Vadodara.

Vadodara Deputy Commissioner of Police Yashpal Jaganiya told news agency ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that those taken into custody included a man who allegedly bombed a policeman from a house on the third floor about an hour after the clash broke out. was thrown. According to the official, no one was injured in the incident. He said that a motorcycle parked in the area had caught fire after a rocket fell.

“After a dispute arose over bursting of firecrackers and throwing rocket bombs at each other, people from both sides started pelting stones at each other,” he said. After the incident, security forces have been deployed in the area and the situation is under control, the official said. He said suspects from both the communities were being questioned.

News agency ANI, quoting Yashpal Jaganiya, has reported that an incident of stone pelting took place at Muslim Medical Center in Panigate area of ​​the city on Monday night. He said that CCTV footage is being examined and statements of eyewitnesses are being taken.

Earlier on the 3rd of this month also there was a communal riot in Vadodara. This riot took place in the vegetable market of Savli Town in the city. The controversy started after a flag of another religion was placed on an electric pole near a temple.
