Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Nagpur to lay the foundation stone and officially launch projects totaling Rs. 75,000 crores. Dhol beats welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he arrived in Nagpur. After being moved by the gesture, the Prime Minister joined the group of musicians and gave the instrument a try.
In the footage that was shared on Twitter, Prime Minister Modi can be seen playing the dhol while watching one of the performers. “A traditional welcome in Nagpur, Maharashtra,” the writing reads.

The first phase of the Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg in Maharashtra has officially been opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, and Nitin Gadkari, the minister of roads and transport, attended the opening ceremony. Samruddhi Mahamarg, also known as the Nagpur-Mumbai Super Communication Expressway project, is anticipated to improve connectivity and infrastructure across the country.
Nagpur Metro Phase I
Additionally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the nation a gift by dedicating the “Nagpur Metro Phase I.” He also signals the beginning of two metro trains at Khapri Metro Station: one from Khapri to Automotive Square (Orange Line) and one from Prajapati Nagar to Lokmanya Nagar (Aqua Line). More than Rs 8650 crore was spent on building Nagpur Metro Phase I.
