Weather Update: The Jammu and Kashmir State Disaster Management Authority has issued a cautionary alert for potential avalanches in twelve districts for the next 24 hours, including Anantnag, Baramulla, Doda, Ganderbal, Poonch, and Rajouri. Meanwhile, light rainfall will occur in Punjab and Haryana over the next two days.
A new Western Disturbance has arrived in the Western Himalayan region, causing some light weather changes, including overcast skies in Srinagar, Pahalgam, and Gulmarg. On February 10th, rain and snow are expected to fall, with some weather activity still possible on February 11th, though on a reduced scale. By February 12th, skies are expected to clear. As a result, the upcoming weekend in the hills is predicted to be rainy and snowy.
Delhi
The weather in Delhi is expected to remain pleasant, with a warm afternoon and surging temperatures. The maximum temperature today is forecasted to be 27 degrees Celsius and the minimum will be 14 degrees.
Mumbai
Mumbai and its suburbs are predicted to remain clear and bright today. The previous few days have been partly overcast in various regions. The maximum temperature for today is projected to be 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum will be 21 degrees.
Chennai
Chennai is expected to have partly cloudy skies today, but no significant change or rainfall is anticipated. The maximum temperature for today is predicted to be 31 degrees Celsius and the minimum will be 22 degrees.
Kolkata
Kolkata is forecasted to continue its run of pleasant weather, with moderate temperatures and clear skies. The maximum temperature today is expected to be 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 20 degrees.
