Weather Update: Earlier this month, heavy rains fell on many states in northern India. Now, though, the sky is clear. In the majority of the North Indian states, including UP, rain has brought trouble for many. The Meteorological Department predicts that over the next two to three days, conditions will likely improve enough for the Southwest Monsoon to depart from a few more regions of Northwest and Central India. Meanwhile, there are numerous states where the upcoming five days will see heavy rains.
The remaining portions of Gujarat state, some of Maharashtra, and some areas of east India are expected to experience a further monsoon withdrawal over the course of the next two days. Over the course of the next five days, a sporadic Heavy rainfall spell is anticipated over southern Peninsular India.
