Weather Update: The intense rainfall will continue to drench the regions across the country. As per the latest weather update, isolated regions across Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim could experience heavy to very heavy rainfall. Heavy rainfall is predicted in certain areas within Nagaland, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh.
The likelihood of widespread rainfall accompanied by isolated thunderstorms is on the horizon for Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Konkan, and Goa.
Delhi
The national capital is forecast to experience relief today. There will be periodic clouds while the sun will also be out for most of the time. The morning can remain partly cloudy. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with the humidity at 69%.
Mumbai
The trend of light rains and showers will continue in Mumbai and its suburbs for today as well. There is no relief projected in the upcoming days either. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with the humidity at 88%.
Chennai
IMD has forecast that Chennai, too, will remain partly cloudy mainly. However, scattered thunderstorms are likely to lash the region from tomorrow evening. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with the humidity at 61%.
Kolkata
As per the latest weather update, Kolkata is forecast to have thundershowers and a mostly cloudy sky. IMD has also predicted that the weekend will remain rather pleasant. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with the humidity at 94%.
