Weather Update: Every state in North India, including the capital city of Delhi, is experiencing more cold. In certain parts of Uttar Pradesh, winter has already reached its peak. Meanwhile, the fog continues to obscure Delhi, the nation’s capital. For the next two days, numerous states, including Punjab and Haryana, will see severe to very dense fog, according to the Meteorological Department.
IMD predicts that dense to extremely dense fog will likely be present across Punjab and Haryana, as well as dense fog over North Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, parts of Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and Tripura. In addition, a few locations in East Uttar Pradesh, some of Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh may experience temperatures ranging from a cold day to an extremely cold day. Delhi
The national capital will most likely remain sunny and bright. The Christmas celebration won’t get much affected during day as the daytime temperature is likely to remain similar to last few days. However, fog will conitinue to be a problem in morning and night. For today, the maximum temperature will be 20 degrees and minimum will be 6 degrees.
Mumbai
IMD predicts that the city and its suburbs will experience clear day alongwith bright sun throughout the day. It appears as if the Christmas will continue to be calmer and smoother. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees and minimum will be 20 degrees.
Chennai
Scattered thunderstorms will continue to lash the city today. Subsequently, the sky will remain cloudy as well. A change in weather pattern will be seen from upcoming Wednesday. The maximum temperature, for today, willl be 28 degrees while the minimum willbe 25 degrees.
Kolkata
The day will remain pleasant for Kolkat today as the sun shines bright today over the city, There are no chances of clouds hindering the celebrations. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 19 degrees.
