Weather Update: People’s lives are now being heavily impacted by Delhi’s poor air, which is rising day by day. In North India, snow has begun to fall on the mountains and simultaneously fog has begun to cover the plains. However, much change is not seen in temperature as of now.
In the northern parts of the nation, the cold has begun to make its presence felt. Due to Western Disturbance, the weather could get worse in the nation’s northern states.

The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of snowfall with light to moderate rains in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh by the end of this week.
Delhi
The national capital region has no significant update in its weather update. The air pollution is already on a toll and rising slowly. Also, there are no chance of rain happening today, while the days will continue to remain foggy and smoky. The maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 20 degrees.
Mumbai
As per the IMD, the city and its suburbs will have a mainly clear sky. However, the air quality will be worse in comparision to other days, leading to smoky visibility. Moreover, there are no chances of rain happening for a few more days. The temperature will not exceed beyong 34 degrees and minimum will be 23 degrees.
Chennai
Adding relief to the city, there will be no rain today. However, the sky will continue to be partly cloudy. Moreover, heavy rainfall with thunderstorms are likely to hit the city from tomorrow. The minimum temperature will be 26 degrees while the max will not exceed 31 degrees.
Which state will receive rain today?
Stray thunder are likely possible over the southern end of country. Apart from the NCR, Bengaluru, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh can also expect foggy mornings. Jammu and Kashmir will recieve heavy snowfall, while Uttarakhand is also expected to recieve isolated snowfall.
