Weather Update: The national capital is likely to remain clear today. The change will, however, take from a day or two as there is cyclonic circulation over Bay of Bengal. IMD has already predicted that the rain can severely impact the Durga Puja Celebration. As per the sources, it’s raining heavily since morning in Ranchi today.

Delhi
The sky will remain clear throughout the afternoon. Prior to evening or late afternoon, sky will become partly cloudy and isolated areas can experience a change in winds.
Mumbai
The sky will be partly cloudy and there is chance of light showers in the city and its suburbs.
Chennai
The sky will remain generally cloudy throughout the day but the city will also get a relief from the regular rainfalls.

Which state will receive fairly widespread to isolated heavy rainfall?
Fairly widespread to widespread rain with isolated heavy rainfall is on cards over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Chhattisgarh.
Isolated rains possible over these states:
As per the latest weather update from IMD, isolated rains is possible over West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Konkan, Goa, Vidarbha, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep, with a chance of lightning.
Dry weather is likely over the other regions.
