Weather Update: In most Indian states, the temperature has started to drop as winter has arrived. In North India, the weather starts to change in the beginning of December. In many states, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, an increase in cold weather is predicted.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts that snow may fall in the mountains over the coming days. In addition, the IMD has forecast moderate to heavy rainfall for the southern states.

Delhi
Delhi is being affected by the smog and temperature drop severly. As already said, the weather will continue to drop further in the coming days. However, the national capital is also likely to have fog in the mornings. Today’s maximum temperature will be 27 degrees while the minimum will be 8 degrees.
Mumbai
The city and its suburbs are expected to be smoky and hazy. Scattered cloud cover is likely to affect the city. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and 23 degrees.
Chennai
Chennai is likely to be hazy with partial cloud cover. From tomorrow, the weather will take a major turn as it is predicted to rain heavily for a few days. As a result, the weather pattern is likely to be changed. Today’s maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 25 degrees.
Kolkata
There is not much of change for Kolkata in comparision to previous days. As per the latest weather update, the city will continue to be shiny and bright. The maximum temperature will be 30 degrees and minimum will be 19 degrees.

Which state will experience rainfall today?
The Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Lakshadweep are likely to experience scattered to moderate rain over the next 4-5 days due to an easterly wave, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
