Weather Update: Many areas in the nation, including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, have begun to experience dense fog, which is causing problems for locals. In Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Chandigarh, there will be extremely dense fog for the next three days, according to the Meteorological Department. Additionally, many of the states in North India will experience a cold wave. Winter is anticipated to become more severe in some locations because of the drop in temperature between fog and cold wave.
The districts of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and North Rajasthan will experience a cold wave over the next five days, according to information provided by the Meteorological Department. IMD predicts that between December 22 and December 25, some parts of Punjab may experience a severe cold wave too.
Delhi
The early coldwave has already given shivers to the natives. People have been experiencing dense fog and brisky colds since many days. The weather conditions will remain similar like previous days. Morning will start with fog while the rest of day will experience sunlight and cold winds. For today, the maximum temperature will be 21 degrees while the minimum will be 7 degrees.
Mumbai
Mumbai is not expected to experience any notable changes. A considerably more peaceful and tranquil day than previous ones will be experienced by the city and its suburbs. For today, maximum temperature will be 32 degrees and minimum will be 23 degrees.
Chennai
As per the latest weather update, Chennai will remain slightly foggy in the early morning as well. The rains have been now projected to lash the city on the weekend. The maximum temperature for today will be 29 degrees and minimum will be 24 degrees.
