Weather Update: According to the India Meteorological Department, northwest India is expected to be affected by three western disturbances in fast succession during the course of the next week. The weather service has forecasted significant rainfall or snowfall over Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on Wednesday as a result. On Wednesday morning, a dense layer of fog covered New Delhi and other parts of North India, causing visibility problems and major delays for flights and trains. The weather forecast indicates that during the day, the sky in Delhi should clear up. It is anticipated that the maximum and minimum temperatures will be approximately 22 degrees Celsius and 8 degrees Celsius, respectively. Wednesday and Thursday are predicted to see some light rain.

According to IMD, there will probably be isolated patches of dense to extremely dense fog across East Uttar Pradesh and isolated pockets of dense fog over Odisha. There’s a good chance of isolated areas of heavy rain or snowfall in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. A thunderstorm with lightning, hail, and gusty winds (between 30 and 40 kmph) is very likely to occur in isolated locations over Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh; it is also likely to occur in isolated locations over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim; in isolated locations over Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and West Rajasthan; and in isolated locations over Gangetic West Bengal and Arunachal Pradesh.
