Weather Update: There has been relief from the warmth and several regions across the country is currently experiencing mildly cold days. Nevertheless, the Meteorological Department has forecast above-average temperatures for North Indian states in October. The department also reported that the Southwest Monsoon has retreated from the remaining areas of East Uttar Pradesh and East Madhya Pradesh.
Additionally, the monsoon has withdrawn from Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and certain sections of North Interior Karnataka. Meanwhile, Delhi will experience cloudy conditions and rains will lash the region after the 15th.
Anticipated weather conditions include isolated heavy rainfall in South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, and Mahe. Additionally, there’s a forecast of light to moderate showers across Northeast India.
Delhi
Delhi is projected to remain partially cloudy the entire day. There are low to minimal chances of rain taking place. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 21 degrees with humidity at 38%.
Mumbai
IMD has predicted a sunny day for Mumbai and its suburbs. Similar conditions will continue in the region for the entire week. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 73%.
Chennai
A pleasant day has been forecast for Chennai with partially cloudy conditions throughout the day. There are no chances of rain for a couple of days more, at least. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 87%.
Kolkata
As per the latest weather update, Kolkata is forecast to remain mostly sunny, bringing relief from the long-standing rainy conditions. For today, the maximum temperature will be 35 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 62%.
