Weather Update: The IMD has stated in its new forecast that the upper reaches of Himachal will be experiencing moderate snowfall today. Yesterday, the Atal Tunnel was closed for tourists while several other districts have been predicted to receive snowfall today. However, the plains will continue to receive the rainfall, as per the predictions, the intensity is likely to drop from tomorrow with weather activity completely changing from 22nd March.
Rains will continue to lash regions such as Delhi, Tamil Nadu, parts of UP, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan. In the past 23 hours, there have also been moderate rains in North-East. This weather has surely relieved from the ongoing heat wave in many states. Along with these pre-monsoon rains, many states have been experiencing hail storms as well.

Delhi
IMD has predicted that the national capital will get lashed by moderate rains through out the day. This will continue for tomorrow as well, with relief from 22nd March. Until then, the weather will remain mostly pleasant. For today, the maximum temperature will be 21 degrees while the minimum will be 17 degrees.
Mumbai
As per the latest weather update, Mumbai is predicted to be partially cloudy today, along with some dip in the temperatures too. No rains are predicted for the region from now on. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees.
Chennai
Chennai has been predicted to be lashed by heavy rains today. Furthermore, this is likely to continue until the weekend, with no relief in sight till Friday. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees and the minimum will be 26 degrees.

Kolkata
IMD predicts Kolkata to be drenched by rains today as well. The rains will continue throughout the day along with cloudy sky. For today, the maximum temperature will be 27 degrees and minimum will be 22 degrees.
