Weather Update: On Friday, the India Meteorological Department made predictions regarding the upcoming weather conditions. Starting from today, there is anticipated to be an increase in rainfall activity in East and East Central India. Additionally, over the next five days, Kerala and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are expected to experience sporadic heavy rainfall. Between September 3rd and 5th, Central India is expected to experience light to moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall, along with the possibility of thunderstorms and lightning.
In Northeast India, until September 3rd, the forecast indicates the likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall, with isolated heavy downpours anticipated in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Over the next five days in East India, we can expect a continuation of fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.
Delhi
IMD has forecast that Delhi will continue to experience a clear and sunny sky the entire day. Rainfall or cloud cover is not on the cards for several upcoming days. Today’s maximum temperature will be 37 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 51%.
Mumbai
The day will start with the city engulfed in cloud cover while there be scattered thunderstorms in the morning. However, the day will remain rather pleasant later on. Today’s maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 71%.
Chennai
As per the latest weather update, Chennai has been forecast to receive intense rainfall and thunderstorms the entire day. No relief is predicted in the upcoming week either. Today’s maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 80%.
Kolkata
Kolkata will also experience rainfall and thundershowers until the afternoon. However, from thereon, the sky will remain mostly cloudy. Today’s maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 72%.
