Weather Update Heavy rainfall alert issued for these states; Delhi-Mumbai to remain clear

Weather Update: Due to the Northeast monsoon, several southern Indian states, including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and portions of Karnataka, are anticipated to see severe rainfall during the next several days. Rains associated with the Northeast Monsoon are anticipated to start falling over Southeast Peninsular India around October 29.

The storm of Sitrang has now fully receded after wreaking significant havoc in the northeastern regions of India and Bangladesh. In Assam and the neighbouring territories, this storm is currently weakening.  It may rain quite a little in these states over the next day.

Delhi

As already anticipated, the weather in the national capital region has started to become more coldish with the departure of festivities. The mornings as well have started to appear more foggy and smoky. Though, clear sky is predicted for the upcoming days, there are no chances of rain happening.

Mumbai

As per the latest weather update, the city and its suburbs will continue to be shiny with little chances of rain. The weather will be significantly pleasant in the city for the upcoming days.

Chennai

Chennai natives will face a change in the pattern of weather today i.e. the sky will become partially cloudy from today. However, the rain is predicted as soon as the weekend approaches. From tomorrow onwards, the weather will take significan turns.

Where will it rain today?

Over Assam, Nagaland, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, isolated showers and thunderstorms are probable.

In Northern India, as well as Central, Western, Eastern, and Southern India, the quality of the air is likely to be quite bad.
