Weather Update: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rainy days ahead for several regions across the country. According to the forecast, a possibility of heavy rainfall exists for areas encompassing Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, and Uttarakhand.

Fairly extensive spells of rain and thunderstorms may transpire over Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Expect scattered showers accompanied by thunderstorms in Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidharbha, Coastal Karnataka, and Lakshadweep. Isolated instances of rainfall and thunderstorms could affect Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, East Rajasthan, Gujarat, Marathawada, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Interior Karnataka, Kerala, and Mahe.

Delhi

IMD has forecast that the national capital and its adjoining region will remain mostly sunny throughout the day. However, patches of partly cloudy sky will also be there. For today, the maximum temperature will be 36 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity comparatively lower at 56%.

Mumbai

As per the latest weather update, the city and its suburbs will experience scattered thunderstorms in the morning. However, the day will get pleasant from thereon and the sun will shine from the noon. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 83%.

Chennai

Chennai will get relief from rains today. The sky will mostly remain clear, however, during the afternoon, some clouds might appear. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 76%.

Kolkata

Thundershowers and mostly cloudy sky will continue to lash the city today as well. No relief is likely in near about future. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 85%.
