Weather Update: The latest weather update for the day has been announced by the IMD. As per the bulletin, Intense rainfall could affect portions of Gujarat, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, and Mizoram. There’s a prediction of fairly widespread rain accompanied by thunderstorms across the Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Coastal Karnataka.
Isolated instances of rain combined with thunderstorms are anticipated in Haryana, Chandigarh-Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, and Tamil Nadu. In certain regions of Rajasthan, maximum temperatures may exceed 40°C.
Delhi
IMD has forecast the national capital and its adjoining regions to remain partly cloudy. Some isolated regions could receive light rainfall as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 35 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 67%.
Mumbai
As per the latest weather update, the city and its suburbs will continue with the existing weather trends. Light showers will continue to lash the region. No change is likely in the upcoming week either. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 86%.
Chennai
Chennai is forecast to remain mostly sunny throughout the day. Evening sky could experience partly cloudy-ness, however, the weather will still remain hot & humid. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 76%.
Kolkata
Kolkata will experience scattered thunderstorms in the morning. However, the rainfall would reduce from thereon and the sky will largely remain partly-cloudy without any rains, implying relief after a long time. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 82%.
