Weather Update: IMD alert, Heavy rain is expected in these states

Weather Update: According to Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the country’s central region will experience active monsoon conditions over the next 5 days. Rain is expected in many states, including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Utter Pradesh, and Goa. Additionally, Gujarat is on heavy rain alert on August 15 and 16. Heavy rain is possible in Chhattisgarh until August 15. Rain and thundershowers are possible in East Madhya Pradesh and parts of Madhya Maharashtra until August 16.

IMD observe, the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 37 and the minimum temperature to be 27 degree Celsius today. The sky will remain cloudy, and light drizzle is possible.

The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre has warned that there will be no respite for rain-soaked Odisha over the next two days, despite the possibility of the formation of a new low pressure area.

According to the most recent forecast, another low pressure system is forming in the northwest Bay of Bengal, which is expected to strengthen into a deep depression and move west northwestwards over the next two days. The monsoon is also expected to shift its focus to the central states, bringing heavy rains to Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and parts of north Maharashtra, while rainfall activity in the southern states remains subdued.
