Weather Update: The monsoon is gradually retreating from various parts of India, particularly in North-Western regions, as per the Meteorological Department. However, Eastern India is expected to experience heavy rainfall until October 3rd, lasting for three days. Additionally, the west coast will witness heavy rain today and tomorrow.
Thunderstorms are possible in Uttar Pradesh, Ladakh, Jammu-Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh. Isolated heavy rainfall may affect regions including Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall is anticipated along the southwest coast of Maharashtra and in Goa.
Delhi
The latest weather update has forecast that the national capital will continue to remain sunny. No cloudy sky or drizzles are anticipated in the coming days either. For today, the maximum temperature will be 36 degrees while the minimum will be 21 degrees with humidity at 42%.
Mumbai
Mumbai is predicted to remain covered in the clouds. Light rain will lash the region during the evenings. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 86%.
Chennai
Chennai has been predicted to remain engulfed in the clouds too. There is a chance of rain taking place too, however, it would be just a passing shower. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 81%.
Kolkata
Thundershowers will continue to lash Kolkata. However, there will be slight relief during the evening. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 91%.
