Weather Update: Numerous regions across India have experienced substantial rainfall in recent days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts that heavy to very heavy rain will persist in Bihar, Jharkhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and Northeast India for the next 48 hours, with a gradual reduction in precipitation thereafter.

In the upcoming weather forecast across India, several regions can expect varying conditions. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, and Bihar should prepare for widespread rain, including isolated instances of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. Meanwhile, Arunachal Pradesh, Gangetic-West Bengal, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands are likely to experience widespread rain accompanied by thunderstorms.

In Sikkim, widespread snowfall or rain along with thunderstorms is anticipated. Moving to other areas, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Odisha can expect fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms. Finally, regions including Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Lakshadweep may see isolated to scattered occurrences of rain and thunderstorms.

Delhi

IMD has predicted that Delhi will remain mostly sunny. However, there will be some partial cloud cover during the evening. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with the humidity at 74%.

Mumbai

As per the latest weather update, Mumbai and its suburbs will experience drizzles until the afternoon. Though, the rain will likely get over by then, and only clouds will engulf the city. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with the humidity at 90%.

Chennai

Chennai will experience moderate rainfall during the morning with relief until noon. Later on, there will be clouds until the afternoon and isolated thunderstorms once again from the evening. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with the humidity at 74%.

Kolkata

Kolkata will continue to experience isolated thunderstorms until the afternoon. Thereon, they will mostly remain engulfed in the clouds. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with the humidity at 91%.
