Weather Update: The Indian Metrological Department has issued Red Alert for 10 districts in Karnataka alongside heavy rain warnings in different states. The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall till July 10 at least.
On the other hand, Delhi/NCR region faced its first heavy rainfall of the season. The monsoon will stay in Delhi for a week and it will also result in a decrease in the temperature. A change that was desperately needed.
IMD has also predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in the states of Odisha, Gujarat, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Karnataka, and Kerala. Heavy wind warnings in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka were also made public by IMD.
Weather Update: Delhi
The residents of Delhi/NCR were blessed with heavy rainfall for the first time in the season. It also resulted in a decrease in the total temperature of the season. Delhi might face the lowest temperature of the season today 26 degrees Celsius.
Mumbai
Mumbai was once again lashed with heavy rainfall. The rainfall engulfed the whole city and the roads were blocked with traffic because of it. The monsoon will remain here for a week with the temperature remaining between 28 degrees to 27 degrees.
Chennai
Heavy rain and thunderstorm had been forecasted for Chennai in the coming days. With the residents facing a rather unusual sunny day, the coming days will be difficult. Today’s temperature will be between 34 degrees to 28 degrees.
Kolkata
With the temperature between 32 degrees and 27 degrees, Kolkata’s skies will remain clear. There is no heavy rainfall in Kolkata for at least a week. But IMD has issued a warning of thundershowers over the area.
