Weather Update: Heavy Rainfall in Uttarakhand led to a landslide on a Highway road in Badrinath. The road leading to Hemkund from Badrinath has been completely shut down because of the landslide. This has led to many travelers being stuck in the way.
On the other hand, cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Patna, Chennai, and Assam also faced heavy rainfall. This resulted in many areas getting water clogged, and water was filled in many areas of the cities.
The heavy rainfall is also affecting the traffic, and IMD has issued caution warnings in every state under the influence of heavy rainfall.
Weather Update: Delhi
Friday came as a relief in terms of the rain, but IMD has predicted that the monsoon is not over yet. Delhi and other neighboring NCR regions are likely to receive heavy to moderate rainfalls over the next week. Today’s highest temperature will be 32 degrees, with the lowest being 26 degrees.
Mumbai
IMD has put Mumbai under Yellow alert, as all the areas from Andheri to Malad faced heavy rainfall. The roads were clogged, and the traffic was deeply affected in many parts of Mumbai. Today’s temperature will be between 29 degrees and 27 degrees.
Chennai
Chennai saw heavy rainfall on Thursday, while the weather was still cloudy on Friday. IMD has forecasted that the weather will remain almost the same for the next few days, with a caution warning as well. The highest temperature will be 35 degrees, while the lowest will be 27 degrees.
Kolkata
Kolkata will also face likely thundershowers and rain between regular intervals throughout the day. The sky will remain cloudy throughout the day, with the temperature being between 31 degrees and 28 degrees.
