Weather Update: IMD has issued several major warnings for different states of India. A cyclonic circulation over Uttar Pradesh and Bihar has been predicted for the upcoming days. These states are also predicted to receive intense rainfall for the upcoming five days.
Meanwhile, Kashmir and Leh will face a western disturbance that might result in the temperature getting lower. West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura will also face moderate to heavy rainfall.
The natural disaster that Uttrakahand is facing continued and more videos of the flood came through. Army has been deployed for extraction and roads are being cleared up so that the traffic can pass.
Weather Update: Delhi
The intense rainfall has not been kind to Delhi as most of the roads were completely waterlogged. Yamuna River overflowed and IMD issued a red flood alert. Metro lines were closed and cab services were also on a halt for a few hours.
Delhi will face the same type of weather today with temperatures being between 32 degrees to 26 degrees.
Mumbai
IMD has predicted Light to moderate rainfall in Mumbai and nearby suburbs. After a staggering intense rainfall for the past few weeks, Mumbai residents can now be at ease a little bit. Today’s temperature will be between 30 degrees to 27 degrees.
Chennai
Chennai also faced heavy rainfall as several roads were waterlogged and traffic jams occurred at regular occurrence. IMD has advised everyone to pay caution as the weather will likely be the same.
Kolkata
The maximum and minimum temperature of Kolkata will be around 31 degrees to 26 degrees. The weather will be light and breezy with chances of heavy rainfall as the day progresses.
