In this region, the continuation of intense rainfall is highly probable. Southern Uttarakhand might experience isolated instances of very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall. Widespread rainfall coupled with heavy precipitation and thunderstorms are anticipated across Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Uttarakhand.
Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bihar, and Gangetic-West Bengal are expected to witness fairly widespread rains accompanied by heavy falls and thunderstorms. Scattered rain and thunderstorms are likely to be isolated in Ladakh, Jammu-Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and the Andaman-Nicobar Islands.
Delhi
As per the latest update, Delhi and the adjoining regions are forecast to remain partly cloudy. Light rains could drench the region from the evening. Sky will turn mostly cloudy from the night and will have major impact tomorrow. For today, the maximum temperature will be 36 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 68%.
Mumbai
IMD has predicted that city and its suburbs will experience light showers throughout the day. No change is anticipated for the upcoming week. The maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 86%.
Chennai
Chennai will remain sunny throughout the day while isolated regions could experience partly cloudy sky. The next three days are projected to be pleasant. For today, the maximum temperature will be 35 degrees while the minimum will be 29 degrees with humidity at 77%.
Kolkata
Kolkata will continue to experience thundershowers and moderate to high rainfall. No relief is projected in the region for a few days more. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 92%.
