Weather Update: The district prediction and warning bulletin from the Mumbai Regional Meteorological Department indicates that there may be a chance of heavy rainfall in certain areas, placing the state capital under a yellow alert. For the next two days, Delhi is also under a yellow alert from the IMD, which warned of moderate to heavy rainfall in a few different parts of the city. Since the start of the monsoon season, Chandigarh has been forecast to see significant rainfall and thunderstorms. According to IMD, areas of Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh, including districts like Ranchi and Lucknow, are expected to have significant rainfall.

According to IMD, there will likely be heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in several areas of Maharashtra and Gujarat, with exceptionally heavy precipitation. The India Meteorological Department predicts that isolated areas in Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Goa, and Karnataka may see heavy to extremely severe rainfall. However in certain areas of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka, severe rainfall is predicted by IMD.

The IMD predicts that there will be cloud cover and a high temperature of 36 to 34 degrees Celsius, with a low temperature of 28 to 29 degrees Celsius in Chandigarh.
