Weather Update: After a string of several hot & humid days, the IMD has now forecast cloudy and rainy weather across different states of the country. The weather forecast predicts very heavy rains in isolated places over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and East Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, heavy rains may lash isolated areas in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Coastal Karnataka.
Moreover, widespread rains and thunderstorms are likely to occur in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Coastal Karnataka.
In addition, fairly widespread rains and thunderstorms are expected over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Northeast India, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Kerala.

Delhi
The national capital is expected to remain mostly cloudy throughout the day. The day will begin with scattered thunderstorms, which are likely to continue until the evening. The maximum temperature will be 32 degrees and the minimum will be 27 degrees. Meanwhile, humidity will remain at 81%.
Mumbai
The city and its suburbs are predicted to remain mostly pleasant with chilled winds today. The day is most likely to remain cloudy. Isolated rainfalls will lash the regions periodically. The temperature will range between 29 – 27 degrees while the humidity will be at 88%.
Kolkata
As per the latest weather update, Kolkata is projected to remain cloudy as well. The humidity is at 72% while the temperature will remain between 33-27 degrees. This trend in weather conditions is likely to continue until the next week. Scattered thunderstorms are likely in the region.
Chennai
IMD has predicted that Chennai will remain sunny in the morning and afternoon. Thereon, the clouds will take on the city and the rainfall will lash the regions. The maximum temperature will be 35 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees. The humidity will be at 57%.
