Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that there may be thunderstorms, along with hailstorm activity in the northwest region of India on April 3. States including Punjab & Haryana will be lashed. However, the rainfall is expected to decrease in intensity after today. Rainfall is expected to occur in the southern regions of India as well in the next five days.
The maximum temperature in most parts of India is expected to be two to four degrees Celsius lower than usual. Over the next five days, temperatures will likely be below average or close to average in most parts of the country. Read below to know the latest weather update.
Delhi
As per the latest weather update, the national capital Delhi will remain mostly sunny and bright. Isolated regions could experience some moderate cloud cover for a brief period. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 32 degrees and minimum will be 20 degrees.
Mumbai
The city and its suburbs is predicted to have a clear sky with sun shining bright. No cloud cover is expected with humidity likely to be on the higher end. Maximum temperature for today will be 31 degrees and minimum will be 25 degrees.
Chennai
IMD has predicted almost similar conditions for Chennai. Sky will remain clear with sun, and no major change is likely in the upcoming week. The maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and minimum will be 28 degrees.
Kolkata
Partly overcast in brief periods throughout the day are forecast for Kolkata. Though, overall, the weather will be sunny. The maximum temperature will be 34 degrees and minimum will be 25 degrees.
