Weather Update: The second day of the new year brings no relief from the freezing temperatures and thick fog. While the temperature has started to drop once more in the plains, snowfall has continued in the mountains. Delhi experienced a minimum temperature of 5 degrees Celsius on the first day of the year.
The Meteorological Department claims that the temperature will be in the same range on Monday. Let us tell you that there was some relief from the cold in the final days of last week. However, there is once more a cold-ness in the air.
Delhi
IMD predicts that the national capital will be once more shrouded in the coldwave along with fog affecting natives at the same moment. The temperature is likely to remain same for the upcoming days as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 18 degrees while the minimum will be 6 degrees.
Mumbai
The city and its suburbs will experience haze throughout the day along with some cloud cover taking on the city. Though, the upcoming days of the new year are predicted to be clear and brighter. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees and the minimum will be 21 degrees.
Chennai
Chennai is predicted to have foggy conditions along with partial cloud cover in the sky. Also, no rains are predicted in the upcoming city. As per the latest weather update, the maximum temperature for today will be 28 degrees while the minimum will be 24 degrees.
Kolkata
The morning conditions for Kolkata too are predicted to be foggy, apart from that, the city will remain pleasant today as well. The temperature, today, will range between 27 to 16 degrees.
