Weather Update: The cold is set to return after a minor rise in temperature across North and Central India during the past few days. This means that even today, rain is possible in many states. Along with the cold, a rise in pollution is also being observed at the same time. Delhi’s surrounding territories, notably Bihar, are experiencing deteriorating air quality.
The northwest and centre of the nation will once more see dry and cold winds from the Western Himalayas. The minimum temperatures in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh will all be reduced by these chilly winds. The minimum temperature in Delhi for the next few days may be 7 or 8. In some areas of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, cold wave-like conditions could develop.
Delhi
The national capital is predicted to be hazy thoughout the day. Though, the winters are announcing their arrival with chilly winds. The maximum temperature for today will be 27 degrees while the minimum will be 12 degrees.
Mumbai
The city and its suburbs are in for a shiny and bright day. However, as per the latest weather update, rain won’t impact the city and the existing weather pattern will continue for a few days more. The maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 21 degrees.
Chennai
After a relief of few days, Chennai will now again experience heavy rainfall with thunderstorms. Clouds are likely to cover up the sky whole-day. The maximum temperature will be 24 degrees and minimum will be 22 degrees.
Kolkata
Kolkata is likely to remain hazy for a couple of days more. The partial cloud cover is likely to take-over the sky. Chances of rain are close to nil. The maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 18 degrees.

Which state will receive rainfall today?
On the south coast of Andhra Pradesh and the north coast of Tamil Nadu, to name a few of additional states, there may be light to moderate rain today. A few locations over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands may get moderate rainfall. In South Interior Karnataka and Telangana, including areas of Rayalaseema, light rain is probable. For northwest and central India, nighttime temperatures are probably going to remain steady over the next 24 hours before beginning to drop.
