Weather Update: Rainfall in Delhi; Check Conditions in Ranchi, Lucknow, Patna

Weather Update: The India Met Department predicts that Delhi will likely have partly overcast skies on Sunday, with thundershowers predicted to develop into showers within two to three days. Although rain is not expected over the weekend, an official issued a yellow alert for light to moderate rains on Monday in Delhi-NCR. According to the most recent Mumbai weather report, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rainfall in Mumbai on Sunday. The prediction from the Meteorological Department suggests that there is a chance of heavy rain today in several parts of Bihar and Jharkhand, and that other cities, like Ranchi and Patna, will continue to see sporadic rainfall.

IMD also forecasts light to moderate rainfall across Uttarakhand, including the state’s capital, Dehradun, in sporadic to fairly widespread amounts. Cyclone Asna is causing heavy rainfall in Gujarat, thus the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert. As the storm moves away from the area, the IMD has issued a warning about possible flash floods, especially in low-lying and coastal areas. According to IMD, Telangana will likely see some areas experience extremely high rainfall, with some areas experiencing heavy to very severe rainfall. The India Meteorological Department reports that Vidarbha is experiencing heavy to very heavy rainfall, with exceptionally severe falls in some areas.
