Weather Update: Delhi, Lucknow and Ranchi to Get Heavy Rains, Check Conditions in Patna and Dehradun

Weather Update: The Southwest Monsoon is expected to spread further over the remaining areas of the nation, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) cautioned in its most recent weather forecast of extremely heavy rainfall over many areas of Northwest India. It is predicted that the National Capital will have cloudy skies, significant rainfall, lightning, and thunderstorms. The orange alert serves as a warning that conditions in the districts of Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Theni, and Dindigul are extremely poor and could cause power outages, road and rail closures, and commuter disruptions. Mumbai is expected to have light to moderate rainfall today, according to the India Meteorological Department.

In Tamil Nadu, the maximum temperature is probably going to be between 34 and 35°C, while the lowest temperature is probably going to be between 25 and 26°C. In Mumbai, the temperature will fluctuate between 26 and 32 degrees Celsius, with cloudy skies and light to moderate rain. Dehradun will have cloudy sky with the possibility of heavy rainfall. However Patna would also see cloudy sky accompanied by few spells of rain as per the IMD forecast.

According to IMD, there may likely be isolated areas of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, Assam, and Meghalaya. The IMD forecast states that there will be heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in the states like Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Heavy rainfall is expected in isolated areas over Delhi, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Goa, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Karnataka, according to the India Meteorological Department. Lucknow and Ranchi are also likely to have rainfall today. However the wind speeds between 35 and 45 kmph with gusts up to 55 kmph is predicted by IMD to be prevalent across the southern regions of the northeast Arabian Sea and the adjacent northwest Arabian Sea.
