Weather Update: According to IMD’s forecast, heat waves could linger in some areas of Eastern and Peninsular India and rain or storm-like conditions are expected to remain in northeastern India. For the next five days, Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, and other states are expected to experience rain and heatwaves, according to the India Meteorological Department. Delhi is experiencing rising temperatures in the morning and evening. The Meteorological Department said that on Friday, April 5, there can be some light rain in Delhi.

According to IMD, there is a high probability of isolated areas of heavy rainfall or snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh, as well as isolated areas of severe rainfall in Assam and Meghalaya. In isolated areas in Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and North Interior Karnataka, a warm night is most likely to prevail. In isolated areas in Vidarbha, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, and North Interior Karnataka, heat wave conditions are extremely possible. It is quite probable that coastal Karnataka, Konkan & Goa, Kerala & Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal would see hot and muggy weather.
