Weather Update: There have been nationwide rains in the past two days with hailstorms wreaking havoc along with thunderstorms. Though many regions did not experience this new western disturbance, certain states in North India experienced a complete halt in daily life. Along with that, farmers have also incurred losses since withstanding crops have now turned to be of no-use due to water logging. IMD has predicted that today will be some relief from the rains, though. Read below to know the latest weather update in different regions of the country.
Delhi
The national capital Delhi is predicted to remain partly cloudy today. Some regions will also witness isolated rainfall. However, the weather is most likely to remain pleasant throughout. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 26 degrees and minimum will be 17 degrees.
Mumbai
IMD has predicted that the city and its suburbs will remain sunny and clear throughout the day. The sky will continue to be clear and no change is predicted in near future. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 31 degrees and minimum will be 25 degrees.
Chennai
Partly overcast sky is predicted for Chennai by IMD today. Though there are chances of light rains in isolated regions, the weather is most likely to remain dry. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and the minimum will be 28 degrees.
Kolkata
As per the latest forecast, Kolkata is projected to be lashed by moderate rains today. Light thunderstorm is also on cards for the city. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 28 degrees and minimum will be 23 degrees.
