Weather Update: Over the next few days, central, western, and eastern regions of India may experience rainfall, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The IMD forecasts isolated thunderstorm and hailstorm activity in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra within the next 12 hours, followed by northern Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, and Jharkhand on March 9 and 10. Major parts of Rajasthan including the Jaipur region will also be lashed by rains.
However, IMD has predicted that the weather won’t create a ruckus in UP, Bihar, and Delhi NCR. People will be to enjoy the festivities as the sky will remain clear and no abnormal weather activity is predicted for the region on the day of Holi.
Delhi
The weather in the national capital is predicted to remain mostly pleasant. However, some moderate cloud cover is predicted over the region during the evening. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees and the minimum will be 17 degrees.
Mumbai
Major parts of the city are predicted to be pleasant in the morning. However, the isolated regions are predicted to be lashed by light rain. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees and minimum will be 26 degrees.
Chennai
Chennai is predicted to remain partly overcast. However, the weather will remain mostly pleasant throughout the day. IMD predicts no major change in weather trends in the upcoming week. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees and the minimum will be 24 degrees.
Kolkata
The weather in Kolkata is predicted to remain mostly cloudy. Rains are also predicted in some regions of the city. For today, the maximum temperature will be 35 degrees and minimum will be 23 degrees.
