Weather Update: Rainy Spell Continues Across States! IMD Forecasts rainfall in THESE states, Know what to expect in your city

Weather Update: Anticipated weather patterns across various regions of India point towards a diverse range of rainfall and thunderstorm occurrences. Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are likely to experience widespread rain, with heavy falls and thunderstorms. In Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar, fairly widespread rain is expected, occasionally intensifying into isolated heavy falls accompanied by thunderstorms.

Moving on to Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Gangetic-West Bengal, moderately widespread rain and thunderstorms are projected. For Ladakh, Jammu-Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep, and the Andaman-Nicobar Islands, the weather will remain largely pleasant.

Delhi

The national capital is predicted to remain hot and humid throughout the day with some clouds taking over the sky during noon. Winds could be slightly breezy during the night as the sky will turn mostly cloudy post-evening. For today, the maximum temperature will be 36 degrees while the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 59%.

Mumbai

Light to moderate showers will take on the city and its suburbs for the complete day. No change is likely in the conditions for a couple of days more. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 83%.

Chennai

Chennai will experience rainfall today as well. However, the intensity is likely to be lower than yesterday. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 74%.

Kolkata

Thundershowers with intense rainfall will continue to lash the city. IMD has forecast similar conditons for a few days more. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 82%.
