Weather Update: Heatwave Red Alert in Delhi, Heavy Rain in Kolkata; Check Conditions in Lucknow and Ranchi

Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reports that this scorching heat will persist for a few days across northwest India. Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh are probably going to experience the worst cases during this time, with the greatest effects. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted mostly clear skies on Monday along with strong surface winds. There would be heatwave conditions in several sections of Delhi and severe heatwave conditions in other nearby regions. For Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan, the Meterological Office has issued a “red” alert, emphasising the immediate need for “extreme care for vulnerable people.”

The IMD predicts that there will be likely slected areas of rainfall in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Meghalaya. However the same is predicted with almost same intensity over few parts of Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Nicobar Islands and West Bengal (including Kolkata). In many areas of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Uttar pradesh( including Lucknow), Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Gujarat there is a possibility of heat wave to severe heat wave conditions likely to prevail. The temperature of Ranchi has significantly fall down after the rainfall in the city.
