Weather Update: According to the Indian Meteorological Department, normal rainfall is expected to occur in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and other parts of northwest India in February, with reduced chances of coldwave days in the region. In most parts of the country, the minimum temperatures are expected to be normal to below normal, with the exception of northeast and adjoining east India, northern parts of the west coast, and some parts of northwest India where above normal temperatures are likely.
The Indian Meteorological Department stated that it is highly likely that most parts of east and northeast India, east-central India, and some areas of northwest and west-central India will experience above-normal maximum temperatures.
Delhi
The national capital is predicted to remain clear and sunny. The day will likely remain warmer than last few days. Increase in temperature is expected in the upcoming days. For today, the maximum temperature will be 23 degrees and minimum will be 10 degrees.
Mumbai
The city and its suburbs are predicted to be pleasant. No major change in weather is anticipated for Mumbai. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and minimum will be 23 degrees.
Chennai
Chennai is predicted to remain mostly cloudy throughout the day. Though, rains are not likely to impact the natives. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees and minimum will be 26 degrees.
Kolkata
IMD predicts Kolkata will remain mostly clear. However, some parts are likely to witness some mist today. The maximum weather, today, will be 28 degrees while the minimum will be 16 degrees.

It is unlikely that weather will now get colder. With the beginning of February, the temperatures are predicted to stay on a higher end. Though, the upcoming western disturbance will result in moderate snowfall over the upper reaches.
