Weather Update: There’s a good chance of isolated areas of heavy rainfall in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Thunderstorm with lightning and wind gusts (between 30 and 40 kmph) over Kerala and Mahe, and maybe isolated locations over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. Dense fog is probably present in sporadic areas across Meghalaya, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
Schools to reopen from Monday as AQI improves in Delhi
Due to the improving Air Quality Index in the nation’s capital, all Delhi schools will reopen on Monday, according to a notification from the Delhi Directorate of Education. On the other hand, a week after the order’s issuing, morning assemblies and outdoor sports activities must resume. The Delhi Air Quality Commission lifted the restrictions placed under Stage-IV of the Graded Response Action Plan today, as the city’s air quality showed notable improvement, with the AQI reading at 322 (very poor).
