Weather Update: The latest forecast for the nation indicates rainy weather in the South and northeast while the North will remain largely clear. Isolated areas of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are expected to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall. In the Gujarat Region, heavy rainfall is anticipated in isolated locations.
Meanwhile, fairly widespread rains and thunderstorms are expected over several regions, including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Telangana, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Lakshadweep.
For other areas, there’s a possibility of isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms, including Uttar Pradesh, Sikkim, Bihar, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. Additionally, Ladakh may experience isolated instances of snow or rain accompanied by thunderstorms.
Delhi
A warm and sunny day lies ahead for the national capital. The upcoming days, too, have been forecast to remain in the same weather conditions. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 25 degrees with humidity at 68%.
Mumbai
IMD has predicted that the city and its suburbs will remain mostly engulfed in clouds. There are chances of showers lashing the region. Tomorrow will remain the same as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees with humidity at 90%.
Chennai
The day will generally remain cloudy. However, there will be isolated thunderstorms during the evening and early morning. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 87%.
Kolkata
Isolated thunderstorms and a cloudy sky has been forecast for Chennai. No relief has been predicted for the city. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 81%.
