Weather Update: There’s a good chance of isolated areas of heavy rainfall in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. Strong winds (between 30 and 40 kmph) and lightning are likely to be present in isolated locations over Kerala and Mahe, as well as in West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Gujarat state, North Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
Temperature is decreasing in these places
At most locations in Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra; at several locations in Vidarbha; at a few locations in Telangana, North Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, and Chhattisgarh, the minimum temperatures are noticeably above normal, ranging from 3.1°C to 5.0°C. Most locations over Konkan and Goa, Coastal & South Interior Karnataka and Arunachal Pradesh; many locations over Assam & Meghalaya; a few locations over Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Odisha and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura; and isolated locations over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Kerala & Mahe, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim and Bihar have temperatures above normal, between 1.6°C and 3.0°C.
