Weather Update: The Meteorological Department has stated that snowfall in Darjeeling, North Bengal, is possible throughout the next twenty-four hours. The remainder of North Bengal, meanwhile, will continue to have dry weather. There’ll be a slight fog. On the other hand, Dinajpur and Maldah will have increased fog. It is expected to rain until next Saturday in the regions of Kalimpong and Darjeeling. It could get colder by two to three degrees. There is a good chance of cold to extremely cold weather in several areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh; there may also be isolated pockets of cold weather in Rajasthan and Bihar.

In isolated pockets over Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, dense fog in some parts over Uttarakhand, dense to very dense fog in some parts over Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh; in isolated pockets over Jammu division, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura. There is a high probability of isolated pockets of cold wave conditions over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Rajasthan. There is a high probability of localised pockets of frost throughout Uttarakhand. Squally conditions with 45–55 kmph wind gusts to 65 kmph are expected to prevail over the southwest Arabian Sea near and off the coast of Somalia.
