Weather Update: The Meteorological Department reports that on February 26, there will be snow and rain in the western Himalayan highlands. There will be rain in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh. Simultaneously, there will be rain after this disturbance because of the upcoming fresh western disturbance. In addition, Arunachal Pradesh has been warned to expect heavy rain for the next six to seven days, and rain is also expected in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Delhi is expected to see partly overcast sky, thunderstorms, and rain throughout the day, according to the weather service. Monday is expected to see mostly cloudy skies with a chance of drizzle later in the evening, according to the IMD.

Aside from this, Monday and Tuesday of the next two days could bring good rains to a lot of areas in Central India. In addition, there’s still a chance of a storm. The Meteorological Department reports that on February 26, 2024, snow and rain could be seen in the Western Himalayan regions. Hailstorms are another possibility in some areas. In certain places, thunderstorms might occur. There is a high probability of isolated thunderstorms with lightning, gusty winds, and hailstorm across East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Vidarbha. There may also be isolated lightning storms over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, and Marathwada. It is highly possible that squally winds of 40–45 kmph with gusts up to 55 kmph will prevail over the Comorin region and the nearby Gulf of Mannar.
