Weather Update: Rapid change is being seen in national weather patterns. In the northern Indian states, a drop in temperature has been seen. Additionally, there have been some hilly locations with snowfall. Meanwhile, certain regions in South India are still seeing light rain.
The temperature in Delhi will continue to drop over the next few days, according to the Meteorological Department (IMD). Additionally, as snow falls in the hilly parts, the temperature is dropping. IMD reports a 2 to 4 degree Celsius decline in various states in central and northern India’s minimum temperature from the norm.
Delhi
Due to snowfall in hilly areas, the national capital is likely to see a dip in temperature. However, the foggy mornings with pollution are still impacting the region. The chances of rain are close to nil. The maximum temperature will be 28 degrees while the minimum will be 13 degrees.
Mumbai
As per the latest weather update, the city and its suburbs will have a shiny and bright day. The sky will particularly be clear. The maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 23 degrees.
Chennai
Chennai will experience a foggy weather and have clouds covering the sky throughout the day. However, this relief will continue for a couple of days more as it is predicted to rain heavily from the weekend. The temperature will range between 29 – 23 degrees.
Kolkata
The weather in Kolkata, today, will be hazy. Sky is likely to be covered up with the clouds throughout the day. The maximum temperature will be 28 degrees while the minimum will be 18 degrees.

Which state will receive rainfall today?
Today, November 16, there may also be light to moderate rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, South Interior Karnataka, and South Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, regions of northwest and central India may experience a 2-4 degree dip in daytime and nighttime temperatures over the course of the next two to three days.
