Weather Update: The IMD forecasts that while rain is expected to batter the lowlands, many areas in the upper regions of India, including Kashmir, may get new snowfall. The city’s temperature is currently about thirty degrees, according to the weather bureau. In the upcoming days, an increase in this is anticipated. As of March 20 just before Holi, the meteorological department has mostly dry weather forecasts. In several areas of Jammu and Kashmir, there is a chance of new rain or snowfall between March 22 and 24. Puducherry, Karaikal, and Tamil Nadu have all seen dry weather during the past 24 hours. The Karur district’s Paramathi region has recorded the highest temperature of 39.5 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain and thunderstorm warning for the following locations: Jharkhand, Odisha, from March 15 to March 20, and Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and East Madhya Pradesh, from March 16 to 20. On Wednesday afternoon, there was light rain in certain areas of Delhi, the capital city, as a result of the ongoing western disturbance. The agency predicts that Delhi’s highest temperature today would be about 30 degrees Celsius and that there may be some cloud cover throughout the day. Light to moderate rain fell in a number of states over the past 24 hours, including Western Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Arunachal Pradesh.
