Weather Update: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely across Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, as well as heavy rainfall over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, coastal Gangetic West Bengal, Assam and Meghalaya, and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. Thunderstorms with lightning are expected in isolated areas over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, and Kerala and Mahe.
Squally winds of 65-75 kmph with gusts up to 85 kmph are expected to prevail across the North Bay of Bengal along and off Bangladesh. Squally wind with gusts up to 70 kmph along and off the coast of West Bengal; Wind speed 45-55 kmph with gusts up to 65 kmph along and off the Odisha coast.

With an overall air quality score of 388, Bhagalpur became the third most polluted city in Bihar, after 382 in Noida, 348 in Purnea, 338 in Saharsa, 332 in Begusarai, 331 in Gurugram, 328 in Rajgir, and 325 in Rajmahal.
