Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department has predicted that certain areas including Delhi, West Rajasthan, Haryana, South West Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Vidharbha, Madhya Maharashtra, and Gujarat may experience heatwave conditions today. Heatwave conditions are also expected in Western Madhya Pradesh and Vidharbha on Sunday, May 14.
There is a chance of thundershowers occurring in Lakshadweep. Tripura and Mizoram are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall. Other regions are predicted to continue with the pace of their usual weather conditions in the week.
Delhi
No relief is on the cards for Delhi in the near future. IMD has predicted sunny and clear weather for today with the temperature soaring from the morning itself. No change is predicted in the region for the upcoming week as well. For today, the maximum temperature will be 41 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees.
Mumbai
As per the latest forecast, Mumbai and its suburbs are predicted to experience clear skies along with sunny weather. Humidity will be 76%. For today, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees while the minimum will be 29 degrees.
Chennai
IMD has projected that Chennai will remain partly overcast today, especially in the isolated region. However, no other change is likely for the upcoming week even. The afternoon will remain clear and sunny. For today, the maximum temperature will be 40 degrees while the minimum will be 30 degrees. Humidity will be at 67%.
Kolkata
Kolkata is predicted to have a rather pleasant day today. The morning will begin with partly overcast conditions and thereon the day will remain mostly cloudy. For today, the maximum temperature will be 35 degrees while the minimum will be 26 degrees. Humidity will be at 78%.
