Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for severe weather in various parts of India, including thunderstorms, lightning, and hailstorms. The alert spans across North, South, East, West, and Central India, and is expected to last for several days. According to the IMD, there is a high likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rainfall and snowfall, with isolated heavy falls predicted in the western Himalayan region today and tomorrow.

The northern plains are expected to see thunderstorms, lightning, hailstorms, and gusty winds on March 25-26. The IMD has also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and hailstorms in the central parts of the country on March 26-27. Additionally, the southern parts of the country including Kerala and Karnataka are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall over the next few days. The IMD has urged people to stay indoors during stormy weather, avoid unnecessary travel, and take necessary precautions.

Delhi

The national capital is predicted to remain clear and sunny throughout the day, giving natives relief after a long week. Also, the day is most likely to be pleasant. The maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 18 degrees.

Mumbai

As per the latest weather update, the city and its suburbs will continue to be pleasant today. Some regions could also experience moderate cloud cover today. The maximum temperature will be 31 degrees and the minimum will be 23 degrees.

Chennai

The latest weather forecast for Chennai states that the city will experience moderate cloud cover during the evenings. No change in weather is anticipated for the few days. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 32 degrees and the minimum will be 27 degrees.

Kolkata

Saturday in Kolkata is predicted to be mostly clear with isolated regions covered in cloud cover. The weather will remain the same until the weekend and the rains will then lash the city from the new week. The maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and minimum will be 26 degrees.
