Weather Update: The North Indian region, including Delhi-NCR, is experiencing shifts in weather conditions, with some areas feeling the warmth since the beginning of February. The Meteorological Department reports that there will be little change in the weather for most states in the next five days, but there will be continued rainfall in the mountainous states. The IMD has issued a rain warning for five days in Arunachal Pradesh and there is a possibility of a storm.
Over the past 24 hours, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh have seen light rain and snowfall, causing disruptions to people in Himachal and Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has also informed that a new Western Disturbance will arrive starting February 14, bringing changes to the weather. There is a chance of light rain and snowfall in Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad on February 15 and 16.
Delhi
As per the latest weather update, the national capital will witness a sunny and bright day. However, the temperature today will surge in comparison to yesterday. For today, the maximum temperature will be 23 degrees and the minimum will be 12 degrees.
Mumbai
The city and its suburbs will continue with their spree of pleasant runs as IMD forecasts clear weather. The temperatures are likely to stay on the higher end too, with the maximum being 34 degrees and the minimum being 23 degrees.
Chennai
Chennai is likely to be sunny with clear clouds. However, isolated regions could be impacted by a few clouds. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees and the minimum will be 22 degrees.
Kolkata
Kolkata is predicted to remain sunny today. IMD has not predicted any major change in the weather trends for the city. The maximum temperature for today will be 30 degrees and the minimum will be 16 degrees.

In addition, the suburban area of Kufri, located near Himachal Pradesh’ capital Shimla, experienced snowfall. As a result, 196 roads, including three national highways, were closed to traffic. Roads in several other upper reaches have been blocked too.
