Weather Update: The forecast for the capital’s Republic Day is looking more favourable than originally thought. The chance of rain and strong cold temperatures has diminished, allowing for potentially pleasant weather. While there may not be any significant cloud coverage, a mild breeze will add a touch of winter. Expect a typical foggy morning with patchy fog, clearing up for a clear view of the parade later in the day.
For the rest of the nation, the weather will continue to remain similar. Though, the rains and hailstorms will also lash some regions, intensifying the cloud. Several regions in UP and Bihar witnessed rains yesterday.
Delhi
As mentioned above, the national capital will have pleasant weather. This also marks relief for the natives, who have been suffering long due to the cold wave. For today, the maximum temperature will be 19 degrees while the minimum will be 6 degrees.
Mumbai
IMD predicts that Mumbai will remain sunny. Also, the temperature will claim up a bit too, making the weather more hazy and humid. However, no major change is anticipated in the weather trend. For today, the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees while the minimum will be 22 degrees.
Chennai
According to the most recent weather report for Chennai, the city will have partly overcast sky. A maximum of 29 degrees and a low of 24 degrees are predicted for today, maintaining the same range as yesterday.
Kolkata
As per the latest weather update, Kolkata will continue to have a pleasant weather update. No clouds or brisk winds are predicted for today. The sky will remain sunny. For today, the maximum temperature will be 32 degrees and the minimum will be 20 degrees.

There will be a small reduction in temperature after January 26. After January 31 the cold might get worse once more. But it won’t be frigid. There will be less chilly after the first week of February.
